How do I make a booking with Fare On Call US?
Booking the flight for your desired destination is short and simple. Use the search panel on the homepage to find flights that match your dates and route, pick a fare, complete the passenger details, then either pay in full or hold your seat with a low deposit. How will I know my booking is confirmed?
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email from us containing all the details — usually within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it. If you still haven't received the confirmation, contact us.
Are there any charges for booking flights over the phone?
Fare On Call US does not charge a phone-booking fee. Any extra costs you see are supplier charges that vary depending on the fare and the airline's ticketing rules at the time of booking.
What is the low-deposit option?
On selected fares you can secure your seat with a small upfront deposit rather than paying in full. Our team will contact you with a payment plan tailored to your trip and the airline's ticketing window. The deposit amount depends on the airline and destination, and the balance is usually payable at least 10 days before departure.
How do I get my e-ticket?
You can choose e-ticket while booking your flight with Fare On Call US. E-tickets are usually issued within 12 hours of booking. They are safer than paper tickets — no risk of being misplaced, torn or lost. If you haven't received your e-ticket within 12 hours, please check your spam folder first and then call us.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else's name?
Change of name on a flight ticket is not possible. However, you can cancel the existing ticket and book another one in the new traveller's name. Cancellation charges from the airline will normally apply.
What are the age criteria for infants and children?
Infants are 0–1 years through the entire period of travel. Children are 2–11 years through the entire period of travel. Please note that infants are not allocated a seat and must travel on an adult's lap unless you specifically book an infant-with-seat option.
How can I reconfirm my flight status?
Contact the airline directly within 72 hours of departure to reconfirm your flight status, or check on the airline's website.
How do I check passport and visa requirements?
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of your stay. Before you reserve a ticket, check with the relevant consulate or local embassy for specific requirements. An ESTA visa is required for USA or transiting USA sectors; an ETA is required for Australia or transiting Australia sectors. If your flight involves a change between two different airports, it is your responsibility to arrange the transfer and check the transit visa requirement. Fare On Call US is not responsible for visa or passport formalities.
What time should I check in for my flight?
Always check with the airline for accurate check-in times. We recommend checking in at least 2 hours before departure for a short-haul flight and at least 3 hours for a long-haul flight. Allow extra time if you are collecting any tickets on departure.
What payment methods do you accept?
We charge the amount of the flight booking through:
- Credit / debit card payment via our secure payment gateway.
- Bank transfer.
- Cash payment at our office.
- Card payment via an e-pay link sent to the customer.
How can I cancel a flight booking?
If your ticket is on a low-cost airline you can contact the airline directly for cancellation, using the booking details we sent you. For regular airlines, call us on +1 347 801 8535 or email support@fareoncall.com with your booking reference. Please note that an admin charge applies in addition to any airline cancellation fee.
What are the charges for a flight ticket cancellation?
Some fares are non-refundable from the moment they are booked; others can be cancelled with a cancellation fee. Where cancellation is allowed by the airline, an additional admin fee is collected by Fare On Call US in addition to any fees charged by the airline.
How long does a refund take?
Most tickets are non-changeable or non-refundable, but where a refund applies it usually takes 6–8 weeks from the date we receive your cancellation request in writing.
What's my baggage allowance?
Baggage allowances vary by airline, fare class and route. Scheduled carriers usually include a free checked-luggage allowance plus a hand-luggage allowance. No-frills carriers almost always charge for checked luggage; the option to add bags is offered during the booking process and is shown on your confirmation. Hand-luggage size and weight limits are airline- specific — if in doubt, contact us on the number on your confirmation email.
